SARDINES
South African Sardines are caught in the clear, cold waters of the Atlantic and Indian Ocean. Specifically in the catching zone FAO 47.

The catch is packed on ice on board the vessels and delivered daily back to port.  From there it is transported to cold store facilities, sorted, sized, quality controlled, packed finger laid and frozen to -20 degrees celcius.
